It may seem like minutiae, but the costs of buildings for government use can be far more expensive than people imagine. While there most likely could be some cuts made, as the repairs and maintenance are done by a government that loves spending money, there won’t be in the current environment. These costs add up, which goes to show where tax dollars are going in ways few even look into.
